What am I doing???!!?!

How about that!!!  I've been accepted at Ohio University!!  It's just a dream come true!

Sounds easier than I know it will be.  Hmmmm  I can't think of friend's names when I see them,
I can't remember what I went into the kitchen to get, I can't think of a word I want to use that I've used a thousand times before. Sounds like my brain needs a swift kick in the a**!!!  So, what better way to do that then to go after a degree in college!  Why not?!?!

I have one son, David, who graduated from West Virginia University and a younger son, Max, who is a student at Ohio University now.  Yep, and he doesn't even care that his old mom is also a student there!  What a kid!  When I told David, he replied with, "I had a 66 year old lady in classes with me at WVU so you can do it, too!"  Loved and appreciated their encouragement!!

Hubby....a different story.  Looked upset, even mad.  Yeppers, I'm heading to college to find me a college boy!!  NOT!!  I reassured him I am not going to the campus, but taking the courses online, and he lightened up some.  I'm not quite sure why he had the response that he did.  Mike has CLL and knows he will need lots of attention as the disease progresses.  Is he worried that I won't have time for him?  Is he jealous that I have something very special to look forward to, when his future is questionable?  I understand both.  His health will always come first and he'll find that out when the time comes.

I've ordered a new computer because as I write this blog, I type without a space bar, which isn't easy.  I ordered an Apple which will send Max over the top with jealousy when he finds out!!  LOLOL  I love it!  Mom's turn!!

I have my own OU ID!!  I have my own CatMail, and even my own....Tuition Due Account.  I'm hoping I don't have to drag this out for many years, and my dream would be to walk with Max at graduation, but I'd have to take 20 credit hours the next three semesters, so I doubt that happens!
Guess I'll just have to have my own graduation!

I have been absolutely overwhelmed by the responses on Facebook after I posted that I am going to college!  So wonderfully encouraging and kind!!  I love everyone of them and all of my Likes!  I'm going to print them off and read them during the tough times!  I have to achieve my goal and those will help tremendously!

Now I just await my computer, and October 21 to be able to register for classes!
